One day we will look back on this

and think to ourselves, "remember that time when that lady--what was her name--ran for vice president and it was really weird and kind of insulting and we were sort of confused as to why she was running because she didn't seem qualified and didn't really make any sense but her running mate--who we all used to trust and even once considered voting for--seemed to think it was a good idea and thought she was totally viable but we weren't sure why and we just sort of watched with half-open-mouthed confusion and furrowed brows but everybody continued on with the election as if everything was perfectly normal and we wouldn't notice that this lady was alarmingly close to running our country?"
